Amber Searcy

Hello, my name is Amber Searcy and I am 22 years old from Adelaide, Australia. I have grown up with a passion for helping others and wildlife conservation. I currently volunteer at AMWRRO (Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation), and have recently travelled to Cambodia to volunteer at The Elephant Sanctuary. In Adelaide I work at Anglicare Grange Nursing Home and am also a Medical Sports Trainer for the local Football Team the Henley Sharks.

Last year I travelled to Costa Rica to volunteer for GVI Costa Rica Jalova’s Sea Turtle Expedition. Here is where I fell in love with the jungle lifestyle and all the amazing species found in Tortuguero National Park. So, it gives me such joy and excitement knowing that this year I am returning to the jungle as a member of the JagTeam.
